Summary

HAVEN, Wis. -- Along a breathtaking strip of Lake Michigan shoreline, the best golfers on Earth manhandled one of the longest, most intimidating golf courses ever built Saturday. Workmanlike Vijay Singh, the PGA Tour's leading money winner, shot a 69 to take a 1-shot lead over Ryder Cup candidate Justin Leonard, who is playing his best golf of the year. Singh, who is at 12-under 204, has a 4-stroke advantage over the other top contenders after the first three rounds of the 86th PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.
