Summary


It's been six years, and it could have ended at any moment. Organizers and co-founders Bill Saunders and Nancy Shea have gone through a whole lot to keep Ideat Village alive. In the past, both have told the Register about days and days spent trying to obtain permits, about having events planned that could get canceled at any second. But they've got things done, and with each year, it all gets a little smoother.

The fruits of the duo's labor can really be seen with this year's Ideat, a more varied and eclectic festival. Check out the schedule on the side of the page for a full rundown on what's going on, but we want to talk for a second about the two big concerts happening today and Saturday.
