NEW HAVEN -- While police continued to search Sunday for whoever murdered two homeless people in an abandoned building on Grand Avenue, the victims' friends and family members described them as good people who never bothered anybody. The bodies of Louise Soules, 37, and Mike Mobley, 38, were found inside the three-story building at 776-778 Grand Ave. Saturday morning by another homeless person. Police said the pair had been beaten or stabbed to death.
Police spokeswoman Bonnie Winchester said no arrests were made in the murder Sunday, but she added police "have some good leads and they're following up."See the full content of this document
