BERLIN, Conn. -- Connecticut Light & Power Co. and Yankee Gas Co. are reminding customers who may have difficulty paying their electric and natural gas bills this winter that there are several programs to help. They include the Winter Protection Program and the Matching Payment Program. Interested CL&P customers can call 800- 286-2828. Yankee Gas customers can call 800-438-2278.
