CLINTON -- If Shirley Morrison has one inviolate rule, it is to never, ever, say anything about the job performance of any of the town's seven first selectmen she has served as administrative assistant. But it is her vitality and her love of the job -- not her firm adherence to that mandate -- that brought her to the celebration this past week of 30 years of service in Andrews Memorial Town Hall, a tenure that places her by far the most senior employee in the town office building.
