I was thinking: This is just great. We're sitting here waiting for Brett Favre to make another monumental career decision ... and feeling the dA(c)jA vu. Haven't we learned yet that the drama queen can't make a career decision without weeks of mood swing?

I'm not a big fan of this latest Green Bay offer to keep him on the shelf for $25 million because it shows the Packers to be desperate and small. But funny, isn't it, that Favre hasn't just dismissed the offer out of hand and shown up in Green Bay to await the commissioner's blessing. To me, showing up on the Packers' doorstep would be a sign that he's totally committed to playing again. But he's back to waffling, and that only leads to countless days of melodrama.
