Survey: Clinton Residents Want More Rec Programs

Summary

CLINTON -- While sports are by far a strong interest of residents, a Parks and Recreation Department survey has found strong support for more non-sport activities for young people and adults. The online survey, in which 174 households participated during the two months it was available on the Parks and Recreation Web site, solicited commentary on existing programs and facilities, and asked residents to provide their "wish list" for new programs and facilities.

Compiled by resident Sondra Fritz, survey results are being reviewed by selectmen before the Parks and Recreation Commission submits its long-term capital budget request to the Capital Expenditure Committee.
