The Super Bowl means much more than a football game to the Bloomquist family. The big weekend has become synonymous with a benefit in memory of Aedan Bloomquist, with proceeds going to Branford High School graduates.
Bloomquist died in 2001 when his Ford Explorer crashed into trees in North Haven. After graduating from Branford High in 1998, he became a volunteer firefighter and a salesman for Shipman's Fire Equipment.See the full content of this document
