Milford: The Milford Senior Center is saluting Milford veterans and their families and those in the military at noon with a free lunch at the center, 9 Jepson Drive. RSVP at 877-5131 by Wednesday. A musical program, highlighted by the center's band, The Note- Ables, will be presented. Milford's Veterans Day parade will step off at High Street and Jepson Drive at 2 p.m. A--Branford: The parade will step off at 2 p.m. at South Main Street. The Parade Committee and veterans will meet at 8:30 a.m. at Center Cemetery to be taken to all town cemeteries for flag raisings, firing squad salutes and taps. The Naval Ceremony Unit will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the bridge at South Montowese Street over the Branford River. Main units will gather at 1; ceremonies begin at 1:30.
A--Hamden: The town will hold a ceremony at noon at the Veterans Monument on Dixwell Avenue in front of Hamden Middle School. Bring lawn chairs, as seating is limited. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held at the Elks Lodge on School Street.See the full content of this document
