The six states served by ISO-New England are expected to use 1.6 percent more electricity under normal weather conditions this summer as the region makes its way out of the recession, according to the regional power grid operator.
Demand during usual conditions of about 90 degrees is expected to top off at 27,550 megawatts this summer, officials with ISO-NE said.
