HAMDEN -- School officials late Wednesday had little information about the student who allegedly smashed two school windows with a steel pipe and was subdued with a Taser stun gun. The young man, 18, was tasered by School Resource Officer Paul Calamita, who was called to the courtyard by school staff who feared for their safety because they were close by, Capt. Ronald Smith said.
