Summary
The Bleacher Creature roll call has been a staple at Yankee Stadium since the late 1990s. Rumor has it the act started when a fan from the right field seats shouted, "Hey, Bernie," trying to solicit a wave from Yankees center fielder Bernie Williams. At Tuesday's home opener, those same fans, along with almost every other member of the sellout crowd, gave Williams a little something extra in what will probably be his last season with the Yankees.
