Superintendent of Schools Edward Favolise said he plans to present what he says is a "status quo" budget for 2005-06 with an 8.05 percent increase in spending to the Board of Education on Wednesday. The meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Board of Education offices on Grove Street, will be the first for new members Republican George Boath and Democrats Fran DiGiorgi and John Lawlor.
