The Connecticut ASA Hall of Fame announced its honorees for the slow pitch wing of the newly merged softball Hall of Fame. The new inductees will be recognized along with their fast pitch counterparts at the Hall of Fame awards dinner, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. at Costa Azzurra Restaurant in Milford. Named to the slow pitch wing are players Phil "Skip" Scarpellino of New Haven, Bob "Red" Hannan of Trumbull, and Steve Polvani of Wethersfield.
The late May Laber of Stamford, who was a longtime women's recreational softball supervisor, was voted into the Bernie Iassogna Hall of Honor that recognizes managers, coaches, sponsors, umpires and friends of softball.See the full content of this document
