SHELTON -- A 15-year-old girl returning home from school Monday interrupted a burglary and used her phone to help cops catch the suspects. The teenager called police when she realized a truck parked in her driveway was waiting for a burglar who was inside her house, according to police Detective Ben Trabka.
A woman inside the truck asked the teen for directions for a street not in the area, police said. The woman began blowing the truck horn, and the teen realized someone was running from inside her house, so she called 911.
