Voters will go to the polls today to cast ballots on the city's latest efforts at charter revision. The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The polling places are Elizabeth Shelton School for the 1st Ward, Sunnyside School for the 2nd Ward, Long Hill School for the 3rd Ward and Mohegan School for the 4th Ward.
Voters also will cast ballots on bonding for the proposed elementary school for grades five and six at the old Shelton Intermediate School. Renovating the school will cost about $41.4 million, with the city paying roughly $22.5 million at the city's current reimbursement rate of 42.5 percent.
