As Gorman Bechard leans back on a chair, sips a Rolling Rock and rambles on about music in his East Rock office, you'd never guess his head was filled with such dark thoughts. No matter what the author/screenwriter puts on paper or film, there's always a pervasive subject matter, a perverted underbelly, or so you would think.

"I have no idea where this stuff comes from," laughs Bechard, who just released his twisted novel of revenge and infatuation, "Unwound" (Onxy paperback, $7.99), in early January under the pseudonym Jonathan Baine. "I sincerely have no idea. I'll just be writing and it comes to me."
