NEW HAVEN -- A city physician and partner in the Temple Medical Center fears a plan to build a new Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School nearby will decimate the center and New Haven Hotel by exacerbating an already serious parking crunch. Alvin Greenberg, a neurosurgeon who has helped run the medical center since its inception, is the first to publicly pose opposition to a retooled plan for the high school unveiled by city and school officials last month.
Susan Weisselberg, coordinator for the city's school construction program, said the city is aware of Greenberg's concerns. She said the city is conducting a "pre-design" study to examine the parking issue and other concerns.See the full content of this document
