The city of Norwich and Dodd Stadium got a new lease on minor league baseball when the Connecticut Tigers played their home- opener Saturday night against Vermont, bringing Class A New York/ Penn League ball to the state for the first time in the 71-year history of the league. The past few months have been hectic for Andrew Weber and his staff. It was only five months ago that the team's move from Oneonta, N.Y., was made official, and Weber, the team's general manager, has spearheaded the relocation effort.
