About 150 residents stood strong in their unwillingness to welcome a proposed truck driving school on Pearl Street, despite efforts by a panel of experts to convince them the project would make a good neighbor. A Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing on the issue was so heavily attended that it was forced to move from Town Hall to the community center to accommodate the crowd.
