A Life Remembered: Milford Woman Was Always Seen at Her Best

Summary

Evelyn Lynch loved to go shopping and out to dinner and the movies, but she always made sure she looked her best first. "She was a good dresser and liked fine pieces of jewelry, and she always had to have her powder and lipstick on," said a daughter, Brenda Pantelis of Stratford. "Even after she got sick, she was less concerned with being sick than the way she looked. She had to be put together, even at 88. In later years, we would laugh because we would go to pick her up to go shopping or to the casino, and she was always ready with her coat on and holding her purse. She was always ready to roll."

Lynch died Nov. 5 at age 88.
