Longtime Marzullo's Pastry Shop co-proprietor Emilia M. Esposito worked long hours, but always made time to help others. A parishioner of the former St. Patrick's Church, she was a member and president of that church's St. Ann's Society. "She designed a beautiful all-white outfit and hat for the ladies to wear in the city's May Day parades," recalled a son, Anthony Esposito of Hamden. "She also made lots of our clothes."
Esposito also was a member of the former Elm City Ladies Lodge, traveling to both state and national conventions, and served on the Mayor's Columbus Day Committees, running banquets and parades.See the full content of this document
