Virginia P. Ruggiero was a quiet lady who led a busy life. But it was the quiet moments she cherished most. "When my daughter was very little, every night after dinner my mother would sit her on the table, and they would read stories together," said a daughter, Janice VanLinter of North Branford. "That was her favorite time of day.
