Summary
In a few weeks, those like myself who grew up in large families will remember the Thanksgiving dinners when the whole family would celebrate. My mother would start preparing a week before. We are Italians. There was antipasto, lasagna, soup, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes and sweet potatoes. There was a tray of deep-fried breaded cauliflower, zucchini, tomatoes, shrimp and mushrooms. Just about the time you thought you would burst, here came the turkey.
