In many ways, Yale's magical season of finding multiple ways to win games in the fourth quarter began with its improbable 21-14 victory at Princeton last year. The Bulldogs scored 14 points in the final 1 minute, 13 seconds to knock the Tigers out of first place in the Ivy League.

"I really believe this year started in that game," Yale coach Jack Siedlecki said. "We forced seven turnovers. We became a little different team. Then we played a triple-overtime game against Harvard, just a tremendous game, and that really laid the groundwork for us this year. It led the theme for this year, of learning how to finish, take care of business each week, and to learn to believe in each other."
