NEW HAVEN -- The Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the male with a cane who is a suspect in the bank robbery Monday at New Alliance Bank in Fair Haven. According to police, the man entered NewAlliance Bank at 201 Grand Ave. at around 1 p.m. Monday and passed a note to the teller claiming to have a bomb. The teller handed over cash and the man fled.
He was last seen in the C-Town supermarket lot across the street. He was described as white and in his 50s or 60s. He walked with a slight limp and had what police described as a "hunchback."
