Summary
The second phase of a years-in-the-making Route 80 realignment project is finally set to begin this spring, according to state Department of Transportation representatives.
The two-year project will cost about $15 million and span from North Street to the Tilcon railroad bridge near the Central Shopping Plaza on Route 80. Andy Fesenmeyer, a DOT employee, told the Town Council recently that he expects the state Bond Commission to approve funding, as well as the federal government, and that the DOT will seek bids in December.See the full content of this document
