Pepper spray shot off Monday morning in a Foran High School classroom resulted in the swift suspension of two students and prompted several other students - suffering from the ill effects of the spray - to head home, said fire and school officials.
In the middle of a morning class, a student "fired a quick blast" of pepper spray into the air, said Fire Battalion Chief Brad Ross. No one was hit with the spray directly, but several students were affected, including one who suffered an asthma attack, Ross said.
