Customers of Connecticut Light & Power Co. will see two different refunds on their electric bill this fall, together averaging as much as $8.60 in the winter months. On Wednesday, the Department of Public Utility Control gave final approval to a settlement of a lawsuit over power line congestion costs that will put $83.4 million back in consumers' pockets.
Under the pact, customers will receive a refund in September, October, November and December, and the amount for the average customer using 500 kilowatts a month will be $5.50, or about 11 percent.See the full content of this document
