Summary


OXFORD -- Oxford native Eileen Mary Rzeszutek Mazaika led an active life that included years of volunteer work and fund-raising efforts, numerous hobbies and the raising of three children. She served as a volunteer librarian at Oxford Center School for many years. She later became a front desk volunteer and patient representative at Griffin Hospital, doing this for many years as well.

On the home front, Mazaika was involved in Scouting, Little League and Babe Ruth League baseball. She was an active parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle, where she was baptized, sang in the choir, was a member of the ladies guild and assisted with fund- raising events, including the church's annual Christmas craft fair.
