The heat under the tent didn't help, but you could tell that Dan Orlovsky was anxious as he surveyed the Dan Orlovsky Foundation gala at Scinto Towers Thursday night. He'd much prefer to stand in the pocket while Bears All-Pro linebacker Brian Urlacher breathes fire in his direction.

"I'm more nervous putting on one of these (charity functions) because I don't do this for a living," said Orlovsky - who does have the wink down pat and seemed to have things well under control, as fans, supporters and a few of his NFL buddies ate, drank, and perused the items for auction under the big top. "Standing in the pocket ... I enjoy that. But here, you want to put on a good show, you have things like the weather to worry about ... it's a lot of work, but it's worth it."
