A familiar villain showed its face early in Plainville's American Legion game against Orange. It ended up causing the difference in a close game. Plainville, which struggled on defense through the early part of the season before going on a 13-4 run, committed four errors, leading to all four of Orange's runs in a 4-2 final. Plainville tried to bounce back from the early mistakes, but could never mount a big enough rally against left-hander Fred Geisinger.
