AIDS Project New Haven - SAVE THE DATE: AIDS Project New Haven will be hosting its 13th annual A Midsummer Night's Gala June 16 at Hopkins School in New Haven. This year's honorees are Dr. Michael Kane, nutritional counselor for APNH, left, and Dr. George Appleby, interim dean of Health and Human Services at Southern Connecticut State University. The black tie evening includes dancing, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet meal by La Cuisine of Branford and silent and live auctions. Tickets are $150. Near & Far Aid - TAKE IN A CHUKKER OR TWO: Butch and Leigh Butterworth, owners of the Giant Valley Polo Club in Mt. Carmel, will be a part of the Near & Far Aid/Fairfield County Bank Polo Classic Saturday at the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport.
