Between a packed gymnasium and a handful of momentum swings, 19th-seeded Northwest Catholic ended No. 6 Wilbur Cross' season with a 70-63 victory in a quarterfinal of the Division I boys' state basketball tournament at Maloney High. The Indians advanced to Wednesday's semifinal at the New Haven Athletic Center against East Catholic-Manchester, which knocked off No. 2 seed Harding-Bridgeport in another quarterfinal.
