Summary
Regarding the letter "Vietnam vet's being spat on was 'urban legend,'" I was serving in the Mideast, not Vietnam, during the early 1970s and I was spat upon in New York while in my Navy dress whites. It feels like someone is trying to rewrite history. Unless you were there, you have no clue as to what it was like.
