Sullivan, a Milford resident and junior defenseman at Avon Old Farms, has spent much of the last month being poked and prodded -- physically and intellectually -- by NHL personnel. This weekend, he has a chance to be taken in the seven-round NHL Entry Draft, which begins Friday in St. Paul, Minn. and runs through Saturday.
The league's Central Scouting Bureau, which evaluates and ranks eligible players, rated Sullivan as the 75th-best North American skater. That could equate to a draft position between the third- and fifth-rounds.
