MILFORD -- Pasquale "Pat" Nardone was in the bookbinding business from the time he was a teenager. He started out by sweeping floors at a New York bookbinding concern and ended up owning his own bookbinding company in West Haven.
His son, Anthony Nardone of Colchester, said his father worked long, hard hours. "He told me the reason he did this was because he came from a family of 11 children, and they led a frugal life.
