Police and city officials will revisit the idea of beefing up security at the Westfield Connecticut Post Mall and imposing a curfew for those under 18, following a weekend brawl involving hundreds of youths. Police Chief Keith Mello said it is believed the teenagers involved were there for a high school dance party at Knickerbocker Famous Bar and Restaurant. They later wound up at the mall's food court, and that's where the trouble began, witnesses said.

Nine arrests were made in connection with the incident, and five were treated for minor injuries. The mall also was forced to close early.
