The elderly man whose fender-bender with the wife of Town Attorney Lawrence Scrignari prompted an investigation and a dispute within the Police Department plans to sue the town. Chief of Police Leonard Gallo allegedly had called for Ralph Accurso, 88, to be arrested, but the investigating officer and a sergeant refused to do so.
Neither Accurso nor Maryann Sgrignari were ticketed in the March 27 minor collision at High Street and Messina Drive; no one was injured.See the full content of this document
