NEW HAVEN -- Pedro Luis Lespier Friday was sentenced to a 20- year prison sentence in the stabbing death of Manuel Santiago. Superior Court Judge Richard Damiani sentenced Lespier, 29, to 20 years for first-degree manslaughter and one year for possession of narcotics. Because the sentence is to be served concurrently, the total is 20 years.
