Summary
Alfred and Josephine Maffeo of East Haven met as children at the Hamilton Street School in New Haven. After a brief courtship as young adults, they married on Oct. 6, 1939, at St. Michael's Church in Wooster Square. Mr. Maffeo, who served in World War II and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for many years and as a security guard for The Hilton Casino in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Maffeo was a seamstress and homemaker, and when they lived in Nevada, she enjoyed making costumes and accessories for various entertainers and venues in Las Vegas.See the full content of this document
