Summary
U.S. Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman, a man who is financially secure and cannot decide on a political affiliation, is obviously out of touch with his senior citizen constituents regarding a bill he co- wrote to raise the age of eligibility for Medicare to 67, and to increase the premiums as well. I believe a large number of these recipients are living on a fixed income. There has not been a cost of living adjustment in the past two years. What does our esteemed senator propose we sacrifice in order to pay these higher premium costs?
