The Letter Writer Who Condemned Islam for Religious [Derived Headline]

Summary

The letter writer who condemned Islam for religious intolerance found in the Quran should have taken a better look at the Bible before declaring that, in Christianity, "all human beings are loved." I can point to an array of Bible verses with harsh and even violent language targeting others. For example, they say to kill anyone who worships another god (Exodus 22:20 and Deuteronomy 17:2- 7) and to kill all the inhabitants of any city where another god is worshiped (Deuteronomy 13:12-16).

If one is going to use the literal interpretation of the Quran as a test of Islam's humanitarianism, then one must apply the same test to Christianity.
