Summary
I cannot believe the absolute gall and audacity of Kristie Barber and her attorney, Richard Silverstein, to question the $6,000 reimbursement amount for the rescue workers who worked tirelessly to save her life. How dare she say anything whatsoever regarding them demanding payment for services. Barber put those rescue workers directly in harm's way and she also took them away from the possibility of saving lives of those who didn't do something so selfish and idiotic. I cannot fathom how people who have lost loved ones to similar "adventures" could understand her putting a price tag on saving a life.
The next time Barber finds herself in a predicament such as the one on East Rock, the rescue workers should just leave her there until she pays ahead of time. I bet she'd get her checkbook out really quickly and wouldn't question the amount it would take to save her life.See the full content of this document
