Summary
I would like to respond to the recent letter from Derby residents Stan and Dorothy Muzyk. The current Derby Board of Aldermen recognizes the importance of remembering and honoring those in Derby's past.
Not only did we recently name a new Derby street Frank Gates Lane, our first order of business in December 2005, the first month we took office, was to name the bridge over the Derby canal after former Derby resident and famous stage and screen star Brian Dennehy.
