Summary
The radical left of the Democratic Party will do anything to attack the Bush Iraq War, and while I also think the war was ill conceived, politically motivated and the peace poorly planned, the Democratic Party is wrong for not supporting Sen. Joseph Lieberman. They are throwing the baby out with the bath water. Lieberman has represented all citizens of Connecticut very well throughout the Clinton years and the Bush years. Connecticut has benefited greatly by the senator's independence from the party hacks and extremists. The state will be the loser if Lieberman is not returned to the Senate.
Lieberman has earned the respect of Senate colleagues of both parties, he seeks workable legislative compromises and he has always worked for the long-term benefit of Connecticut.See the full content of this document
