I just recently found out about the unfortunate DUI incident that took place in February. I am a former Fair Haven Middle School student, and while I was attending the school, Celeste Davis was my principal and I feel obligated to speak up on her behalf. As a principal, Davis was stern and strict when it was called for but she was also caring and extremely compassionate to students and parents. She took her responsibilities as principal to a whole other level I had not previously seen, and I have yet to see again.
Davis became more than just a principal, she became a parent away from home, a mentor, a leader and a confidante. She became someone I, and all students, could turn to when a parent was not an option. She taught us to strive for our goals, and whether we succeeded or not she was behind us cheering all the way.See the full content of this document
