In December, some of us prowl the malls and Internet for neat (or lame) stuff to buy for loved ones, until our heads and charge cards explode. I ask you, what is the meaning of this? For a wine lover, a gift of, say, 2001 Chateau St. Michelle Cabernet, says, "You made it to Christmas Day, you stressed-out son of a ... you deserve a decent wine with your roast beast." That's meaningful to me.
