Summary
While politicians and others are circling over Connecticut Light & Power Co. like so many vultures anticipating a free meal, it is refreshing to see some clear thinking, as in Rabbi Daniel Greer's letter. CL&P, or any service provider, cannot economically staff support operations for worst cases. If it attempted this, you would have hundreds of technicians, scores of vehicles and tons of material sitting idle for years waiting for "the big one."
