Law Classroom Vandalism Caused $5,000 in Damage

A classroom at Jonathan Law High School was ransacked last month, causing $5,000 in damage and sparking a police and school investigation, school officials confirmed Tuesday. School Communication Coordinator Kathryn Bonetti said in a statement to the media that a classroom at the school was "ransacked" in the early- morning hours of Feb. 23.

Bonnetti said vandals entered the classroom through a closed, but unlocked, window on the ground floor. According to Patrick Bradbury, maintenance department supervisor, a digital video-recorder was smashed, a collection of small mathematics items such as calculators were stolen, and minor damage was found, including glue being poured onto surfaces in the room.
